Council provides grants to a range of community, sporting and arts organisations and individuals and application forms for a number of these have opened. Check out http://www.cairns.qld.gov.au/content/grants/communityGrants.html. If you are not sure which grant might be most suitable, don't hesitate to phone Council and be directed to Community and Cultural Services staff.
