I am not sure how many of you may be members of Arts Nexus, the umbrella organisation for people involved in any way with the arts industry; visual and performing arts, tropical writers, music, festivals, event management, etc: but for those of you who are are interested or involved in the arts and are not members, they have a website - www.artsnexus.com.au - and produce a regular newsletter which gives details of Cairns and North Queensland arts news and information on events, competitions, festivals, exhibitions and various funding sources. Of particular value is their calendar which lists all events being held in the North Queensland region over a calendar year.

The website also contains links to government departments, funding bodies, councils, media organizations, as well as arts organisations and businesses. A very useful site indeed.
